For the past few years, the CAE has helped to build kitchen classrooms, community greenhouses, garden beds, and run field trips with our students within Orleans Southwest Supervisory Union. Now, we’re engaged in a longer term partnership with OSSU, to plan for how we can use our community food systems assets as resources for the place-based and proficiency based education of the future! We’re thrilled to be working hand-in-hand with OSSU on this project.

We are hiring a part time EDUCATION and AGRICULTURE Coordinator for our work within our Orleans Southwest Supervisory Union.

Summary of Position: the Education and Agriculture Coordinator for OSSU will work with the CAE, the Orleans Southwest Supervisory Union, and our community stakeholders (businesses, farms, organizations, parents and students) to build the foundation for place-based education which uses local food system resources as classroom and career assets for our youth.
