The Naked Table Project, created by ShackletonThomas, a fine furniture maker in Vermont, builds tables with and for friends and families in communities across New England, made of iconic Sugar Maple which has been responsibly managed and locally harvested.“We build in our workshops, walk and learn in our forests, and celebrate over a localvore feast upon our tables – forest to table.” www.nakedtable.com
This two day workshop will be modeled after the flagship event in Bridgewater, Vermont, but with a special twist! Naked Table Hardwick will be hosted by Vermont Natural Coatings and offers a unique perspective into the process of their whey-based finish which we use in every Naked Table workshop.
This event includes the table making workshop lead by expert furniture makers as well as our guided forest tour and localvore lunch the following day.
Vermont Natural Coating and ShackletonThomas have generously offered to donate the proceeds of this amazing event to CAE!
