QuickBooks Training at the CAE

Our QuickBooks Training Seminar is scheduled for (2) consecutive Wednesdays, January 11 & 18, 2017. Both are full days– Lunch will be provided!! –beginning pretty early, hopefully ending early but depending on how quickly the material can be gotten through.

The cost is $20, payable at the door (or in advance) by cash or check.

Our instructor is Barb Candar from Northern Communities Investment Corporation. Her Two Day QuickBooks class is conducted using laptops that have a hypothetical business’ data built into a QuickBooks application — everyone in the class works with the same data, on laptops that Barb provides. This is the curriculum outline of the course:

1. Creating a New Customer
2. Working with Lists
3. Working with Bank Accounts
4. Using Other Accounts / Credit Cards
5. Using Sales Forms and Items
6. Receiving Payments and Making Deposits
7. Entering and Paying Bills
8. Analyzing Financial Data
9. Tracking and Paying Sales Tax

Please keep in mind that Barb can schedule one-on-one advisory sessions with class participants in the weeks following the class. So once you learn the skills, go home and get stuck with your own business details, she can offer those support services to class participants.
