Production Efficiency Intensives for Vegetable Farmers
presented by Center for and Agricultural Economy, RAFFL and NOFA-VT

Join us and our partners, as well as Ben Hartman, author of The Lean Farm, to learn how to grow your profit margins by strategically increasing the efficiency of your farm operations.

Topics that will be addressed include: product flow, storage area organization, ergonomic systems, employee management, planning for equipment and infrastructure needs, and efficient winter production systems. Come away with ideas to implement this season that will reduce overproduction, save time, and positively affect both your farm’s bottom line and your quality of life!

Presenters will include Ben Hartman, vegetable farmer and author of The Lean Farm, Hans Estrin, CAPS coordinator through UVM Extension, and a range of Vermont vegetable farmers who have been implementing production efficiency strategies on their farms.
