Monthly ServSafe Classes at the Vermont Food Venture Center

June 15, 2012, Hardwick, Vermont-On the fourth Tuesday of each month, the Center for an Agricultural Economy will sponsor a ServSafe Class at the Vermont Food Venture Center, located at 140 Junction Road in Hardwick,  for up to 8 students.

ServSafe is a Food Service Sanitation Course developed by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation and is a national standard for kitchens and processing facilities.
Connor Gorham, our Professional Production Assistant at the Vermont Food Venture Center, is a certified instructor and tailors these classes specifically for those who work in any processing, restaurant or institutional kitchen. Class size is small for individualized instruction and the $100 cost covers the textbook, instruction and exam (a value of $150). Hurry! The price will increase beginning in September to $130.

ServSafe Certification Dates:

  • Tues, June 26, 8am to 5pm
  • Tues, July 24, 8am to 5pm
  • Tues, August 28, 8am to 5pm
